In the article below we see another winner in what many calling a slow recovery.  In the upcoming weeks we will examine why some are winning while others are struggling to avoid bankruptcy!

By Todd Bunton

The gross margin fell from 67.2% in the second quarter of 2010 to 60.6% but was consistent with the company's expectations.

Outlook

Management said it expects to carry its strong momentum into the second half of 2011. Management projected annual revenue growth in the mid-20% range.

For the third quarter, management said it expects revenue between $13.5 and $14.5 billion and a gross margin around 65%.

Solid Balance Sheet

As of July 2, Intel had over $13 billion in cash, cash equivalents and securities compared with $2.1 billion in long-term debt. The company spent $2.0 billion repurchasing 93 million shares.

Intel also spent $961 million in the quarter paying dividends. It currently yields an attractive 3.3%.

Casey Anthony Released

Casey Anthony was released from a Florida jail this morning as schedule at 12:01 am.  In spite of much controversy and mixed emotion she exited the Florida accompanied by her attorney Cheney Mason.

Casey Anthony was first arrested July 16, 2008 and charged with the disappearance and eventually the death of her daughter Cayle Anthony.  This case drew national attention and outraged many mothers across the country.  Many mothers were applaud at the behavior and activities that Casey Anthony was engaged in during the time that her daughter was missing and while others were desperately concern about her where abouts.

Many will never understand how Casey Anthony could have engaged in partying and night life while unsure of her daughters where abouts.  For nearly a month Casey Anthony lied to her own parents about were her daughter was while she seem to be taking advantage of not having to take care of her daughter and act as most responsible mothers do by caring to her two year daughter.

Once charged and a trial began and last roughly six weeks, the national watched as Casey Anthony's lies were exposed to the jury.  There were many twist and turns in the case that included Anthony claiming that her father was to blame for her daughter's mysterious disappearance.  No one bought this theory and charges were never filed against Anthony's father but it has caused a rife in the family's relationship and the father stating that Casey is not welcome home after her release.

This has cause much speculation as to were Casey Anthony will live and how she will provide for herself as she has shredded her support system and is by many accounts a enemy of the public.  While all people are not against Casey Anthony as demonstrated by the many folks that sent her money while jailed, it will be difficult for her to reinvent herself.  Speculators have suggested theories from her obtaining a legal name change to some sort of wittiness protection program.  They have speculated that she will end up any where from Puerto Rico to Houston, TX which would be ironic as she is being sued by Texas Equu Search for the man power and resources that were poured out in search for her daughter in which the believe she always new the where abouts.

Casey Anthony walk out of the front door of the Florida jail around 12:09 am with her hair pulled up in a bob and a pink v neck shirt with a little over five hundred dollars and showed no emotions on her face.  She left with her attorney in an dark color SUV with approximately a thousand angry protesters outside of the jail.  No incidents were reported but police officers were on horseback and kept a watchful eye on the release and made every attempt to not make it appear that Casey Anthony was receiving any special services or treatment.

Reporter helicopters follow the SUV to a parking garage in the attorney office for Chenny Mason.  Anthony is now a free woman after three years of incarceration time served for the charges of misleading law enforcement during an investigation a misdemeanor.  Casey Anthony has a full acquittal and can never be charge with this particular crime again.  Casey Anthony has made indications for jail that she would like to have another child and get married after her release.  Many believe that she is unfit or undeserving to do so.

Your thoughts, should people accept that a jury of her peers have found her not guilty of the most serious charges in the death of her daughter which would have lead to the death penalty.  Should she be given a second chance or should she remain imprisoned while out free by the judgement of public opinion making it difficult for her to get hired for a job or to freely interact with the public without ridicule.

Roy Williams Wants The Ring Back!

Player Card Declined!

It seems that the NFL lockout is having it's effects on Dallas Cowboy veteran Roy Williams whom has filed a lawsuit against former pageant queen girl friend Brook Daniels in the amount of $76,000.00 for an engagement ring, and $5,000.00 that was for her to pay for dental expenses and bills.

Roy Williams must also posses some level of bashfulness as he sent the ring and his video recorded proposal to Brooke Daniels by mail.  Not sure whom he consulted on that one.  Maybe he should have gone to Robins Brothers and let them assist him with a more perfect proposal.

The lawsuit seems to have evolved due to Brooke Daniels rejecting the video recorded proposal and claiming to have lost the ring.  Of course Roy Williams insurance company wasn't going to take that lying down.  The insurance company had a private investigator get the bottom of the ring's disappearance which yielded it's location to be in Brooke Daniels father's possession.

Brooke's dad, claims that Roy Williams indicated that he did not want the ring back.  Although this is his story and he likely to stick to it, he has decided to return the ring to avoid the lawsuit and put this all behind them.

Hopefully, for Roy Williams sake the video recorded proposal want end up on youtube.

The Jury Has Decided A Verdict In The Casey Anthony Trail

Casey Anthony Verdict Announced

After weeks of testimony and evidence a jury of her peers went into six hours of deliberations on the 4th of July 2011 and resumed deliberations on July 5th, 2011.

The verdict was read approximately 1:15pm on July 5th 2011.  As to the charges of murder in the 1st degree, manslaughter of a child, or aggravated child abuse Casey Anthony was found to be NOT GUILTY!

As for the other four charges of lying to law enforcement Casey Anthony was found GUILTY on all four counts.  The prosecution had no further comments or discussions and the defense agreed to return to court for the sentencing phase on Thursday July 7th, 2011.

No doubt Casey Anthony is pleased with the outcome although it fell short of a full acquittal.  Casey Anthony's parents left the court room shortly after Judge Belvin Perry ordered open court finger printing of Casey Anthony.

Although this case garner national attention, it has been obvious from the beginning that there would be no winners on today.   The lost of a child to prison or capital punishment and the lost of a grandchild are all equally devastating.

May God cover the Anthony family with his grace and mercy today and for the remainder of their lives!
